Murray Charlton is the science leader of the Hamilton Harbour Remedial Action Plan. He has tracked water quality trends and identified relationships between wastewater treatment plants and water quality conditions in the harbour that has led to millions of dollars in improvements.
Murray is known for his ability to explain the science to both his peers and the public in his long tenure as chair of the RAP technical team, and continues as its volunteer emeritus scientist. He has shown that science can lead to solutions.
