John Hall, the coordinator of the Hamilton Harbour Remedial Action Plan, has been the backbone of ecological restoration since the early 1990s when he headed up the RAP’s Fish and Wildlife Habitat Restoration Project.
His work was critical in the early gains of improved public access and habitat restoration that was one of the most important elements in gaining public and political support for the harbour cleanup.
John modestly deflects credit for the progress his passion and professionalism have brought to the harbour, but that humility is also one of the key factors in mobilizing diverse stakeholders to work together so effectively.
