The Dr. Victor Cecilioni Award for the Environmentalist of the Year for 2007 has been awarded to Barbara McKean of Royal Botanical Gardens for her personal and professional commitment to enthusiastically promoting environmental awareness and environmental appreciation to all sectors of society locally, provincially and on a national level.
Her long-term efforts towards educating and motivating the next generation of environmental leaders truly embody the spirit of the Dr. Victor Cecilioni Award for the Environmentalist of the Year.
